sleep tight, little one
It began with a secondhand furniture set made in 1923, the year her great grandfather was born. The bed frames were built much lower to the ground back then, which made this the perfect size for a toddler transitioning to her first big kid bed!
A few coats of juicy coral paint, pale peach walls, bright accents, and a polka-dot ceiling transformed this space into the stuff of (sweet) dreams.

functional + fun
Bright, colorful, and kid-friendly were the main goals for this room. In addition to the easy-access toddler bed, we added plenty of toy and book storage, blackout curtains for sound sleeping, and a great piece of abstract art to tie it all together. A glowing bunny nightlight and custom pillow designed to resemble the room’s occupant are favorite finishing touches.

This room was blessed with ten foot ceilings and picture rail moldings, which provided the perfect opportunity to add a bit of whimsy up high. A decidedly modern way to count sheep…
making the most of it
In a corner typically hidden behind the entry door, we installed shallow floor-to-ceiling wall shelves to create a perfect spot for picture books. An iridescent mirror hung at kid height glows near enameled hooks perfect for backpacks, bike helmets, and ballet slippers.
sweet dreams
Everything in its place. Favorite books, a personalized message board, and a best cuddle pal help ensure bedtime is as smooth as can be … because searching for a lost bunny can really kill the peaceful bedtime vibes.
