hillside kitchen
The gorgeous wood ceiling in this kitchen wasn’t at all happy with its 90’s pink granite countertops and dark oak cabinets. It whispered “glossy cream tile….new countertops…fresh flooring…please help!” We listened, and my goodness - the ceiling was so right.

uppers be gone
This extra-long corridor kitchen had plentiful cabinet space, and the cabinets were in good condition, but the room felt cramped and dated. Replacing the upper cabinets with live-edge open shelving on the sink side immediately made the kitchen feel larger. A fresh coat of paint and strategically placed cabinet hardware brought new life to the existing cabinets, saving the homeowners thousands of dollars.
white, but warm it up
Glossy cream tiles with an organic profile were the inspiration for this warmer take on the classic all-white kitchen. We stacked the tiles in a horizontal grid to give them a modern feel, complemented by matte black and brass fixtures, creamy taupe base cabinets, and quartz countertops with lots of warm veining patterns. The subtle mix is what makes this kitchen shine.
in the nook
In addition to a large open plan dining / living area adjacent to the kitchen, the breakfast nook provides a welcome spot for homework, keeping the cook company, and … ahem … breakfast. A soft modern pendant light makes the wood ceilings glow beautifully in the evening.
